Cody Webb Clinches EnduroCross Championship

Webb and Gutish Earn Champion Chip Status

Merritt Island, FL (November 24, 2015) РSaturday, November 21, was a great day for both KTM/RPM Racing Team and Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant as Cody Webb rode his Factory KTM to the overall Pro Class Championship in the 2015 GEICO EnduroCross series.

Webb controlled the series through the first seven rounds and at the final round in Ontario, CA, all Webb needed to do was finish in front of Husqvarna’s Colton Haaker and his second EnduroCross championship was his. The final race of the season was full of great racing, lead changes and bar-banging action. When the race was over, Webb finished 2nd behind KTM’s Taylor Roberts and right in front of Haaker – exactly where he needed to finish to clinch the title.

Cody Webb earned his second EnduroCross Championship
“The KTM/RPM Racing team has done a fantastic job this year and we’re very excited to be a part of their winning effort,” explained David Kimmey, owner of CycleLogic Products, manufacturer of Engine Ice. “EnduroCross is a tough sport that definitely puts our coolant to the test and, judging by the entire teams results, it tested very well!
Cody Webb was not the only champion crowned in Ontario; Ty Tremaine earned the #1 Championship plate for the Junior EnduroCross class. Rachel Gutish, who went into the Ontario round with a one point lead in the Women’s Pro class, put on a tremendous race but came up one spot short¬†taking second overall in the series.

“Engine Ice is associated with a number of quality athletes, but when they accomplish extraordinary things, we like to award them for their performances,” continued Kimmey. “Cody Webb is not only an incredible racer who now knows how to win championships, but he is also a full-time student working on his engineering degree. Rachel Gutish is one tough, tenacious athlete. Guthish raced the entire EnduroCross Series earning numerous podiums and overall wins. She competed at the X Games, the ISDE and was on the podium at GNCC and Enduro events – All while being a full-time student and a Track and Field star at DePauw University.”

“Hard work, dedication and outstanding performances. That’s the Engine Ice difference that sets Webb and Gutish apart from the others.”
