Engine Ice Introduces New 5-Gallon Container

Merritt Island, FL (October 11, 2016) – Engine Ice introduces their New Easy Pour 5-Gallon Container – an easier and quicker way to provide our customers “Right out of the bottle” performance. This container has an “Innovative Leverage” handle built into the bottom of the container and an Easy Pour spout built into the container’s lid. Plus the Engine Ice product label is stamped into the plastic container so you can easily access product information.

We all know that Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant is the Powersports Industry’s #1 choice for engine coolant – and powers some of the top motocross, off-road and road race teams in the country. It is also the engine coolant of choice for many ATV and UTV racers and enthusiasts.

“The demand for our 5-Gallon containers has grown over the years as our riders and racers prefer to have plenty of our Engine Ice product on hand,” explained Dave Kimmey, owner of Cycle Logic, manufacturer of Engine Ice. “With the increased usage, we felt the next best step was to create a new container that was easier to store and easier to pour.”

Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant is biodegradable, phosphate free and non-toxic; it typically reduces operating race temperatures and effectively keeps boil over temperatures to 256°F or less and freeze-up protection to -26° F. They key to horsepower is not losing it! Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant is engineered to keep your operating temperatures at optimum performance to not lose power through excess heat.

Team BTO Sports-KTM-WPS Muddy Creek Race Report

Contact: teambtosports@gmail.com

Camarillo, CA (June 28, 2016) –    Team BTO Sport-KTM-WPS headed south for Round 5 of the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at the fast Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, TN. Team rider Andrew Short carried momentum into his final appearance at Muddy Creek National, while Justin Brayton and Benny Bloss continued to impress with solid results.

Andrew Short looked smooth in qualifying, putting down the 14th fastest lap of the morning. Moto 1 had Short working overtime, as he would get caught up in a first turn crash. He would remount, and dig deep throughout the moto to finish 20th at the checkered flag. Short bounced back in the second moto, battling through the field and finished 14th at the line. His 20-14 score gave him 17th overall on the day.

“It was a tough day” Short said. “I got caught up in a first turn pileup, but battled back from that. My speed is there and I’m looking forward to next weekend at Redbud.”

Justin Brayton came into Muddy Creek refreshed and energized. He found the fast way around the unique track with the help of the Pirelli Scorpion MX tires to qualify 15th.  He would launch out of the gate strong in moto one inside the top 15. From there Brayton moved forward, working his way through the field to finish 9th at the checkered flag. His momentum continued in moto 2, where he grabbed his ODI grips and a handful of throttle out of the gate, just missing out on the holeshot. He held strong at the front of the field early on, eventually finishing in 11th place. His 9-11 landed him 9th overall on the day.

“I rode well this weekend” Brayton said. “I had two solid starts and battling at the front both motos. My speed is there and it’s a step in the right direction. We will be ready to battle at the front at Redbud.”

Benny Bloss keeps improving each week, and Muddy Creek would be no different. After making a few adjustments in practice, Bloss posted the 16th fastest time of the morning. He would use the explosive power of his FMF Racing exhaust system to power up the start hill rounding the first turn inside the top twenty. A few mistakes early on had Bloss working hard up through the field. As Engine Ice kept his motor running at peak performance in the Tennessee heat, Bloss charged all the way up to 11th at the checkered flag. Moto 2 didn’t start well for Bloss, as major crash early on had him working his way from the back of the pack. With his never quit attitude, he continued to charge through the field to 23rd at the checkered flag. His 11-23 score landed him 16th overall on the day.

“It was a tough weekend” Bloss said. “I felt solid out there today, but a few mistakes had me working through the field both motos. We will get it figured out and come into Redbud on the gas.”

Team BTO Sports now heads to RedBud MX in Buchanan, MI  for round 6 of the 2016 Pro Motocross Championship series.
